Everything You Need to Know
Clark University has partnered with TouchNet to bring students and families the Student Accounts Bill + Payment Center, your one-stop place to manage your student account. Here you can view bills, create on-demand statements, see term balances, invite authorized users to set up logins, select a Clark-managed payment plan, and set up fast and easy electronic refund profiles.
Students are responsible for paying tuition, fees, and all other charges by the due date of each month. Make sure you are checking your student email as that is where you will receive billing notices and other important communications. As an authorized access user in TouchNet, you will also receive monthly email notifications when the bills are generated.
Parents and Third Parties

Instructions for Students:
Students must grant parents or other payers access by setting them up as an Authorized User following the steps below. Authorized users may view student account activity, make payments, and set up payment plans.
Here are the instructions for students to grant parents/third parties access:
- Log on to Clark You: username@mpeaffiliate.com and Password
- Select Main Menu from selections on left
- Select Registrar’s Office, Student Account and Financial Aid
- Select Student Account Information
- Select View and Pay Student Account
- Click the Authorized Users link in the My Profile Setup menu
- Click Add Authorized User
- Enter the email address of your authorized user.
- An automated email including a link, username, and temporary password will be sent. Your authorized user will use this information to log in and set up his/her profile.
- After setup, all authorized users making tuition payments on your behalf will access the system directly through the dedicated Authorized User access.
Methods of Payment
Clark University accepts payment by cash, check, international funds transfers, and online ACH (electronic payment from bank account) or credit card.
Cash payments can be made at the Cashier’s Office located at 939 Main St., 3rd Floor, Room 318.
Check payments by mail can be sent to Clark University, Cashier’s Office, 950 Main St., Worcester, MA 01610.
Online payments via ACH check or credit card can be made by students via CU Web. Anyone other than the student must be authorized by the student to make online payments. To make an ACH payment (from a checking or savings account) you will need to enter your bank’s routing (ABA) number and your bank account number. The amount of your payment will then be withdrawn from your bank account. Credit card payments can only be made online. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted and there is a 2.95% fee for credit card transactions.

How to Make a Payment on a Student Account with TransferMate:
- Log into your TouchNet account through your Clark YOU login.
- Select Main Menu from selections on left
- Select Registrar’s Office, Student Account and Financial Aid
- Select Student Account Information
- Select View and Pay Student Account which should log you into your TouchNet account.
- To make a payment, click on “Make Payment” in the red bar at the top of the screen
- Select Payment Option, click on “Current Account Balance” and verify the amount shown. If it is correct, click “Add”.
- You will see a “Payment Total” at the bottom of the screen. If this is correct, click continue at the bottom right. (If you would like to pay a different amount from what is showing due, edit the amount in the box under Current Balance and click “Add”)
- Select “Transfermate INTL” in the Method drop-down menu and click continue.
- Select the Country where you are paying from and click on Review Rate.
- Enter payer details and confirm the payment information. Click “Initiate payment” in the red bar on the bottom right of the page.
- If you are paying by Bank Transfer, you will be emailed the banking instructions. Make your payment to the instructed bank account.
- Only send the amount indicated on your student bill.
- Include your unique Transaction Reference number with your payment.
- NOTE: Brazilian, Chinese, South African, and Indian students will be required to send supporting documents which can easily be uploaded.

Graduate Bills and Due Dates
Check Banner Self Service via CU Web for the most current account balance. It is the student’s responsibility to go to their account. We recommend checking your account often as changes may occur. To avoid a late payment fee, you must pay the full tuition amount for your anticipated enrollment by the due date. Any additional enrollment in a class after the due date, payment is due at the time of registration.

Bills for full-time SPS undergraduates, part-time graduate, and non-matriculating students are due December 16, 2024.

Additional Information for Graduate Students
General Billing Information for All Graduate Students
- It is important for a student who plans to finish their degree at the end of any given semester to complete the Application for Degree in CUWeb by a pre-determined date established by the Registrar’s office. The Registrar’s Office will email students the application and instructions to their Clark email.
- Students who do not pay their accounts by the pre-determined due date each semester will receive an email notifying them a hold will be placed on their record. This hold will prevent students from making adjustments (e.g., adding, dropping) to their registration; viewing their online transcript; and requesting an official transcript. Students will also be at risk of financial withdrawal and/or having their registration cancelled.
- Students will be assessed a late payment fee of $200 if they have not paid their account balance by the due date.
- During add/drop, students will be able to make changes to their registration without financial penalty, as long as their account has been paid and there are no current holds on their records.
- Any course withdrawals made after the end of the add/drop period will be subject to the Graduate refund policy. Other changes made to the student’s schedule (e.g., late adds, changing unit value) after the add/drop period may result in additional charges and a late registration fee of $100.
- The University offers graduate students the option of paying their financial obligations using our owned managed payment plans in the Student Accounts Bill + Payment Center.
- Students planning to use financial aid to pay their financial obligation should submit necessary paperwork to the Financial Aid Office by the pre-determined date established by Financial Aid Office each semester.
- Any graduate student (full-time or part-time) registering for a summer semester should review charges in the Student Accounts Bill + Payment Center and make payment. No formal bills are sent.
Students in Full-time Programs Fall/Spring Billing
Students in full-time graduate programs will receive electronic semester invoices every fall and spring semester. Students will be billed based upon course units.
The semester invoice will include fees, tuition remission and other fellowship awards for students in full-time programs.
Students in Part-time Programs Billing
Part-time students will not receive a formal bill and are responsible for checking their account via CU Web. Charges for Spring 2025 will be assessed to the account upon registration. The Part-time student billing due date for Spring 2025 will be December 16, 2024.
Students who do not pay their accounts by the pre-determined due date each semester will receive an email notifying them a hold has been placed on their record.
Student Accounts Bill + Payment Center will reflect tuition charges for current registered course units, fees, tuition remission and other fellowship awards. If a student later adds additional course unit(s) additional charges will be assessed. The student is responsible for viewing their account in the Student Accounts Bill + Payment Center.

We understand that it is not always possible or preferred to pay your entire balance by the due date. An option that Clark offers to all students is our own managed four- or five-month payment plans though TouchNet. You can choose to make a down payment, make your own payments by the installment dates, or have them scheduled.
These payment plans have a $55 enrollment fee, and late payments are subject to a $25 late payment fee. Payments can be made from your bank account (electronic transfer/ACH) or using a credit or debit card. Payments made using your bank account will not incur fees; however, please note that credit card payments are subject to an additional 2.95% service fee. All available plans and payment options, fees, and disclosures will be presented to you during enrollment.
For the Spring Semester, the four-month plan begins in January, and the five-month plan begins in December. The final payment due for both plans is April 1st. Students are encouraged to use the estimator tools available in the Student Accounts Bill + Payment Center as well as the Student Accounts Counselors for help estimating the payment plan amount required to cover their anticipated balance due. Both the four-month and the five-month payment plans can be adjusted as needed to meet the final balance due at no extra cost.

Summer Semester No Interest Payment Plan
Summer charges are due upon receipt, however, if you’d like to extend your payments, you may choose to enroll in the Summer Semester No Interest Payment Plan.
This plan has a $40 enrollment fee with the first payment being one-third of your balance due May 1. The remaining two payments are due on June 1 and July 1.
Payments can be made from your bank account (electronic transfer/ACH) or using a credit or debit card. Payments made using your bank account will not incur fees; however, please note that credit card payments are subject to an additional 2.95% service fee.
